Slash is Taking the Blues on the Road

Slash is taking his blues album Orgy of the Damned out on the road with a traveling festival.

The S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival, which means Solidarity, Engagement, Restore, Peace, Equality N’ Tolerance, will hit 27 cities this summer. It starts July 5th in Bonner, Montana and wraps up August 17th at Texas Trust CU Theatre in Grand Prairie, Texas. Tickets go on sale Friday.

Slash will be backed on the tour by his blues band that features bassist Johnny Griparic, keyboardist Teddy ‘ZigZag’ Andreadis, drummer Michael Jerome and singer/guitarist Tash Neal.

Joining Slash for the festival will be the Warren Haynes BandKeb’ ‘MoChristone “Kingfish” IngramRobert RandolphSamantha FishEric GalesZZ WardJackie Venson and Larkin Poe. The lineup will vary at each date.

A part of the proceeds from VIP and general ticket sales will go to The Equal Justice Initiative, Know Your Rights Camp, The Greenlining Institute and War Child. 

Orgy of the Damned, which features guest vocals from Brian Johnson of AC/DCChris Robinson of The Black CrowesBilly Gibbons of ZZ TopPaul Rodgers of Bad Company and more, is out May 17th.
