Queen Releasing Limited Edition Pink Vinyl of "Cool Cat"

Queen will release a limited-edition seven-inch pink vinyl version of "Cool Cat" off their 10th album, 1982's Hot Space.

Written and performed solely by Freddie Mercury and John Deacon, it will be released on Record Store Day, April 20th, with the additional bonus of a new previously-unreleased instrumental mix of the song.

One of four tracks on Hot Space never performed live, it had a surge in popularity last year following its use in an Amazon Prime commercial directed by actress and filmmaker Olivia Wilde. It featured a young girl, actress Morgan Quin, overcoming having a slight mustache by drawing inspiration from Freddie Mercury and purchasing his trademark yellow leather jacket and white boots. At the end of the spot, she reveals that, like Freddie, she also has a gap between her two top front teeth.

The spot was viewed over 25 million times on YouTube.
