U2 Beaming From the Sphere at the 2024 Grammys

U2 have been added to the list of performers at the Grammy Awards.

But, instead of being on stage at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, they will be in Las Vegas at the Sphere, making it the first performance broadcast from the one-of-a-kind venue.

Their appearance will be part of a segment that will include a special awards presentation.

U2 are off that night as part of their U2:UV Achtung Baby Live residency, so it's not known if they'll send over video of a previous performance there or if they'll work on an off day.

Winner of 22 Gramophone trophies, more than any other group, they last performed at the Grammys in 2018 when they did "Get Out of Your Own Way."

That night also saw Bono and The Edge perform with Kendrick Lamar.

Other performers this year include Billy JoelBillie Eilish and Dua Lipa.

The Grammys will be held on February 4th and will air live on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.

U2 returned to the Sphere Friday for the start of their last 15 dates.

They'll be there again Wednesday, Friday and Saturday followed by eight more dates in February and then the finale, March 1st and 2nd.

And, they released a performance video from the Sphere of "Even Better Than the Real Thing."
