Remembering Lemmy On His Birthday

Born on this day in 1945, Ian Fraser Kilmister, better known as Lemmy, the British musician and singer-songwriter who founded and fronted Motörhead, would have turned 78. Sadly, we're also coming up on the 8-year anniversary of his passing. On December 28, 2015, four days after his 70th birthday, Lemmy died at his apartment in Los Angeles, from prostate cancer, congestive heart failure, and cardiac arrhythmia. His cancer had only been diagnosed two days before his death.
