Paul McCartney has followed up this week's announcement of a 50th anniversary edition of his 1973 album, Band on the Run, with the release of the "Underdubbed Mix" of the title track.
Available now on digital and streaming platforms, it's "'Band on the Run' in a way you’ve never heard before. When you are making a song and putting on additional parts, like an extra guitar, that’s an overdub. Well, this version of the album is the opposite, underdubbed.”
The 50th anniversary edition of Band on the Run will be released on February 2nd in a variety of formats including vinyl, which mirrors the U.S. tracklist featuring "Helen Wheels," and it contains a Linda McCartney Polaroid poster.
McCartney's Got Back tour is in Sao Paulo, Brazil through Sunday.
