On This Night In 2019, Phil Collins 'Still Not Dead Yet, Live!' at AAC

Four years ago tonight, Phil Collins kicked off his Not Dead Yet, Live! tour in Dallas at American Airlines Center. A capacity crowd enjoyed an 18 song-set, featuring a few Genesis gems along the way. The (then) 68-year old was forced to sit in a chair for most of the evening due to his back issues, but that didn't seem to affect his voice which unlike his spine is still in top form. Collin's band included a 4-piece horn section, backup singers, Leland Skylar, Darrell Stermer, and Harry Kim... even Collins' 18-year-old son Nicholas on drums. In fact, the 'chip off the old block' stole the show at times with an impressive drum solo and a stop at the piano for "You Know What I Mean."
