How U2 Helped Heal America After 9/11

It's been 22 years since the tragic events of 9/11. In those dark times immediately following the tragedy the country was in need of healing. Not only did Super Bowl XXXVI provide a much-needed distraction, the halftime show featured U2 who many would argue played the greatest halftime show in Super Bowl history. It was on February 3, 2002, less than six months after the 9/11 attacks, when the band proved they were up to the task with an emotional, meaningful tribute to the victims which helped to heal America in a very troubling time.
