On This Day In 1994 Plant & Page Unplugged For 'No Quarter; Unledded'

It was 29 years ago today when Robert Plant and Jimmy Page reunited in a London studio to record an MTV Unplugged, which they called No Quarter: Unledded. They had only made two appearances together since the band ended in 1980 -- for Live Aid in 1985 and for the Atlantic Records anniversary concert in 1988. The actual show No Quarter: Unledded first aired on October 12th, 1994, and was released as a live album two days later. The reunion led to a tour in 1995 and a studio album, Walking Into Clarksdale, in 1998. Check out performances of "The Rain Song" (above) and "The Battle of Evermore" (below).
