It's amazing how many name musicians are packed into a two-minute trailer for a documentary, but when the subject is Brian Wilson, that's kind of what happens.
Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Nick Jonas, Foo Fighter Taylor Hawkins and producer-musicians Linda Perry and Don Was all appear in the clip for Brian Wilson: Long Promised Road. Much of what we see in it consists of Wilson been driven around L.A., visiting various Beach Boys landmarks with Rolling Stone editor Jason Fine, whose upbeat presence seems to calm the often nervous Wilson.
The film is set to open in theaters and on demand on November 19th, after a special fan screening on the 17th.
