Guns N' Roses headlined night one of weekend one of Austin City Limits last Friday. Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan and the band performed 22 songs, over 2 & 1/2 hours, in front of a sweaty yet appreciative crowd. The setlist was largely the same that it's been for the band's Not In This Lifetime Tour which started in 2016. Plenty of songs off "Appetite for Destruction" and "Use Your Illusion," a few off "Chinese Democracy" and the usual dose of covers ("Live & Let Die," "Knockin' On Heaven's Door," even a nod to McKagan and Slash's project, Velvet Revolver on "Slither").
